Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents, adults and senior adults. Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and seniors and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions. Three Rivers Behavioral Health currently has a Chief Nursing Officer position available.

Responsibilities: The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) has responsibility and accountability for administration of nursing services and provides ongoing effective leadership for the overall day to day operations of nursing service and clinical care. The CNO provides leadership, direction, and administration of all clinical areas provided by Nursing Service. As a member of Senior Leadership, ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs and services consistent with the facility's goals and objectives, and actively participates in a leadership role by working cooperatively with the Medical Staff, CEO, management and facility staff. This position directs the implementation and ensures compliance with the Standard of Nursing Practice that promotes optimum health care delivery.

The following are the job requirements for the CNO position:

Master's degree preferably in Nursing.

Current registered nurse licensed in the state of South Carolina.

Five years of experience in Nursing Administration and/or dedicated leadership within psychiatric/behavioral health nursing. A thorough knowledge of JCAHO, OSHA, CMS regulations as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations. Current CPR and CPI required.

Prefer knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing principles, working concepts and theory, leadership skills, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
