Job Description :
The Recreation Therapist is responsible for assessing patient's leisure and recreational activities, providing age and developmentally appropriate therapy groups and establishing behavioral treatment goals in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Art, Music or Exercise required or Certified Yoga Instructor. CTRS and/or license in Specialty Therapy preferred. One year experience in working with a mental health population highly preferred. Knowledge of group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management preferred. Job Responsibilities include completing assessments, leading Recreation Therapy and documenting on groups.
