VALET FUNCTIONS:
* Receives vehicle from guest and fills out parking ticket correctly surveying vehicle.
* Parks vehicle in correct area.
* Retrieves car from parking area and returns key to guest.
* Handles guest vehicles safely and cautiously at all times.
* Files guest's keys and tickets systematically to ensure efficient retrieval of guest's vehicles.
* Ensures files are properly maintained to reflect the location of all vehicles parked in the valet parking locations.
* Maintains record of total cars parked and delivered by each attendant and overall totals for the day.
* Offers information to guests regarding directions, transportation, and Total Rewards.
* Maintains a complete supply of brochures, valet tickets, office supplies and other promotional information that the property is distributing.
* Responsible for assigned cash drawer and is accountable for such funds through audit and financial controls.
* Maintains appearance standards and treats guests courteously at all times.
* Greets guests in a friendly, courteous and enthusiastic manner.
* Assists in the coatroom based upon business levels.
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
* Operational valid driver's license.
* Clean driving record (no at-fault accidents).
* Able to drive all types of vehicles preferred.
* Neat and clean appearance.
* Valet experience preferred.
* Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and administrative skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook.
* Ability to work a rotating shift with fluctuating days off.
* Excellent customer service skills.
JOB DEMANDS:
* Sometimes lifts and/or carries up to 20 pounds and frequently lifts and/or carries up to 10 pounds.
* Position requires 20% standing, 20% sitting, 30% walking, 30% running.
* Requires some bending and pushing, frequent kneeling and stooping; very frequent twisting, climbing and reaching overhead.
* Must be able to maneuver in/around coat check/valet areas/cars/garages etc.
* Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment.
* Must be able to work in areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels and be able to tolerate working outside in all kinds of weather.
