About the position
Provides professional direct patient care to adult cardiac cath patient populations. Communicates with Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist and Anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists physician during procedures. Assesses cardiac cath lab for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for cases and ensures all appropriate needs of fellow cardiac cath lab team are met. Graduate of accredited nursing school, RN license. Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.

Two cardiac cath labs and one EP lab
Approximately 2,400 procedures a year
Cath Recovery Unit is a 10 bed recovery area

Current Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse required
ACLS & BLS Certifications required
2-3 years of critical care experience required
