Responsibilities: The RN Case Management Nurse coordinates the episode of care for insured members who require medical care. The RN Case Management Nurse works with the care coordination team, health care facilities, and the local chief medical directors to coordinate authorization for care, appointments, and medical claims. RN assures that services provided have been authorized or seeks authorization. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple team members.
Qualifications: Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) or Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited Bachelor's nursing program. The candidate must have recent clinical experience relevant to the case management position.
Additional Qualifications: Excellent communication and customer service skills strongly preferred. Experience working effectively with multidisciplinary team members and excellent organizational skills strongly preferred. Experience in care coordination or case management preferred. Previous behavioral health experience is strongly preferred. Ability to work well in a team setting, tolerance of ambiguity, computer and keyboarding skills, and tolerance of multiple client requests preferred. Ability to understand the business model and fiscal responsibility to clients is important. The RN Case Management nurse will be on the Behavioral Health Case Management Team.
License or Certification: Current Minnesota RN license deemed acceptable by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.

Hours/Pay Period: 80 hours per 2 week pay period
Schedule Details: Monday -- Friday; 8:00 am -- 5:00 pm, 8-hour shifts -- Not negotiable
