Providence is calling a Charge Nurse - Labor and Delivery (0.9 FTE, Days) to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for organizing, and directing the delivery of patient care and is a member of the unit leadership team
Promote and enforce the interdisciplinary plan of care, procedures, policies interpersonal relationship between multidisciplinary team members that include the staff, physicians, patients, and their family members
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse ( RN ) License
2 years acute care experience
Current Basic Life Support ( BLS ) card for Healthcare Providers form the American Heart Association
ONS Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Card (for Oncology Unit)
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS ) certification for Health care providers sponsored by the American Heart Association
NIHSS Certification within six months for new hires and transfer (ICU, Emergency, Med/Surg, and Telemetry dept. only)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
National Board Certification in clinical specialty area of practice
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
