PepsiCo Foodservice is a division of PepsiCo that brings the company's entire portfolio of food and beverage brands to market in out-of-home consumption channels to meet consumer needs at work, at play, and on the go. This Foodservice position is part of PepsiCo's National Account group. .
The Lodging Senior Sales Rep contributes to the success of PepsiCo by executing the Lodging selling strategy at the property level across all lines of business within their assigned geographical location. The focus will be on Luxury, Full Service, Resort and Upscale limited serve properties. The position will revolve around executing contract compliance, closing distribution voids, selling in priority brands and innovation and identifying and capitalizing on property level opportunities. It will require relationship building with all GM's, F&B Directors, Banquet & Catering managers, Chefs and all other key decision makers at each account.
The candidate will work closely with Region directors from Marriott, Hyatt and Avendra to align with Customer Standards and solicit their support on key initiatives.
The position will require detailed tracking of accomplishments against specific metrics.
Handling of everyday operational challenges that arise at the Bottler, Plant, DC and property will be necessary as well.
The candidate will need to work closely with their PepsiCo Region Field team to align resources and support local Team lodging priorities.
The candidate will report directly to the DOS for Lodging with a dotted line to the Region Director. Travel within the region will be necessary and physical location at the Region office is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Executing against contract compliance
Closing distribution voids and selling in priority brands
Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction
Drive significant growth at the property level
Working closely with Lodging SNASM's to support NA initiatives
Tracking and reporting out progress
Identifying and executing against new areas of opportunity
Responding to daily Customer inquiries related to day to day activities (product availability, deliveries, returns, pricing)
Develop tactical action plans that will drive growth at the store level.
Cultivate strong relationships with all Customer contact points (GM, F&B *Director, catering Manager and Team, Chef's, Resort manager)
Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
Align with national account region VP's to solicit support for executional initiatives
Qualifications-Skills/Capabilities:
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Must have 3-5 years of experience in CPG sales, with a proven track record of influencing customers, and meeting sales targets.
Experience in the lodging segment a plus
Candidate should be comfortable with making presentations both internal and external
Must able to initiate change management, inspire others to think differently, and collaborate with the incumbent workforce to make change happen.
Candidate needs to demonstrate a competence and comfort with various systems tools; including Microsoft Office, iPro
Candidate must be able to analyze sales data and other lodging insights, and offer tactical and strategic solutions to solve problems and grow the business.
Ability to take initiative and follow-up independently.
Excellent interpersonal/organizational skills
Excellent communication and written communication skills
Beverage/Bottler/Foodservice experience is required.
Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing skills.
Must have impeccable follow up skills
Position requires 30-40% overnight travel.
