Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services/General Manager 2 to service our facility in Ashland, Ohio. This location is a 120 bed community hospital within a larger health system. In addition there are 10 off site patient and administrative buildings. The farthest location is about 30 minutes. This position is directly reporting to the District Manager and other management as needed. The ideal candidate will lead, transition and develop a team of 25 employees. The candidate will be responsible for all Environmental Service functions and Laundry/Linen Distribution. This will require great organizational skill from a leader with a proven track record at improving employee engagement and a demonstrated ability to serve.

The ideal candidate for this position will have solid knowledge of Sodexo ES Systems and processes including TRAKKAR, UOS, Gold Check, ENGAGE and Black Light inspections. High energy for fast paced environment. Client engagement and patient satisfaction is essential for the success of this role. Individual will need to drive patient satisfaction scores. This is a first shift position and the Environmental Services/Housekeeping General Manager will be required to participate in a rotational "on call" schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays.

Position Summary

Directs all housekeeping operations at a single unit. Supervises all cleaning personnel. Responsible for maintaining payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
