About this job

Providence is calling a Clinical Chaplain (0.5 FTE, Days) to Providence Medford Medical Center, Palliative Care, in Medford, OR.

In this position, you will:

Provide spiritual and emotional support and guidance to patients, their families, guests, volunteers, caregivers and physicians.

Support the decision makers with skills in theology, ethics, and ecumenical approaches to faith communities as applied to health care.

Qualifications for this position include:

Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity or related field

Certification by National Association of Catholic Chaplains (N.A.C.C.) or Association of Professional Chaplains (A.P.C) or National Association of Jewish Chaplains (N.A.J.C.), Canadian Association of Spiritual Care (C.A.S.C)

Certification eligible clinical chaplain candidates will be expected to complete their board certification within 2 years of hire date

Documentation of current ecclesial endorsement or support of sponsoring religious group
