Position Purpose: A Trade IV/Electrician A employees will install, maintain, and troubleshoot power systems, motors, and controls. They will respond timely to break downs, complete assignments, document time, maintain log book, order material, clean work areas, and operate needed tools and equipment safely.

Principle Accountabilities:

Electricians complete work using Tropicana, NEC, GMP, and Quality standards. They will work closely with and support all departments. SAP will be used. Some uses are, but not limited to, tracking work and time, procuring parts, predictive maintenance, and building history. Work will be done safely and in a timely manner.

Primary Job Duties:

* Plan, layout and perform a wide range of installation, repair, and maintenance operations on a full range of electrical equipment and circuitry throughout the plant.

* Have minimum of 5 years or more experience in the E-I field, equivalent formal training plus experience, or equivalent related experience.

* Install, maintain and repair complex automatic controls, generating equipment, transformers, motor control centers, and related electrical equipment, including PLC's and VFD's.

* Install, maintain and repair motors and power distribution systems, including transformers, motor starters, switchgears, etc.

* Perform soldering as required for installations or repairs

* Perform troubleshooting of PLC's and using PLC's for troubleshooting of electrical systems.

* Program and troubleshoot VFD's using HIM module and / or other tools or software.

* Have basic understanding of the National Electric Code and other reference materials and charts.

* Be familiar with and capable of, operating and working in a Bucket Truck and / or man-lift.

* Be able to read and understand Technical Manuals

* Have math skills as needed for measuring and calculating electrical formulas

* Follow drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, and schematics

* Be able to identify electrical components and follow wiring diagrams

* Have basic knowledge of PC's, printers and their associated software (Windows, Word, Excel, etc...)

* Perform material procurement duties using CMMS

* Be familiar with and have the ability to carry and use hand and power tools

* Follow prescribed food and safety regulations

* Perform other related duties assigned by management.

* Complete all job assignments within reasonable time lines and workman like manor.

* Complete all Documentation as required daily.

* Leave job/work area neat, clean, orderly, and secure each day.

Physical Requirements Lift pull and/or push up to 40 lbs.

Lift 25 lbs. repetitively

Use proper bending/lifting techniques

Be able to do the following for periods

of time: stoop, bend, climb, sweep
