Seeking a General Manager (III) / Dining Director for Collingswood Manor in Collingswood NJ , (Camden area) just outside of Philadelphia
Collingswood Manor is part of the United Methodist Home Community and includes residential, assisted, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services for 180 Residents. Located in the quaint heart of historic Collingswood; a short walk from the town center, restaurants, shopping, & entertainment!
Position is responsible for creating amazing daily dining experiences for the Residents. Overseeing; food production, inventory and purchasing, training and mentoring, food safety and sanitation, visiting with the Residents during meal service, overseeing the on-site bistro dining facility, catering, and employee meals. Position manages other managers who oversee 25-30 union employees, oversight for all dining services operations including client relationships, financials, driving change to achieve optimum client and customer satisfaction. The selected candidate will be a skilled Food Service leader with the ability to successfully lead dining service operations. Your exceptional communication skills and solid financial acumen will be required. The ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic and ever changing environment is a must. Culinary leadership experience is a plus!
Ideal Candidate Skills, Certification:
Culinary Degree / Trade School Certificate, Servsafe Certificate
Working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance
P&L experience for 2.5 million in volume
Food production, catering, and retail experience
Hands on skills with inventory management, on-line ordering
Experience creating and developing menus / pricing
Skills to train & develop 30 union employees and food production team
Ability to manage multiple and at time, competing priorities
Computer skills; financial, food and labor management systems
Experience in senior dining, fine dining, and creating themed events
Schedule will vary according to the employee needs & Resident events with some weekends / holidays

Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.

Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 4 years
