Providence is calling a Registered Nurse - Clinical Cardiology (0.6 FTE, Days) to Providence Medical Group Plaza South in Medford, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be responsible for facilitating the patient care flow in the clinic while providing direct patient care for an assigned provider.
Facilitate the workflow in the area by conducting nursing assessments and documentation.
Contribute expertise in the areas of patient scheduling, telephone advice, and pharmacy needs.
Assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements, and will support physicians in delivering quality healthcare to patients taking into account the patients' individual physical or age-related needs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) School of Nursing
Current unencumbered Oregon RN license
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification within 60 days of hire
Knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired through obtaining a college degree in nursing and 1-3 years of related experience in an ambulatory setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired through obtaining a college degree in nursing and 1-3 years of related experience in a medical office
