Overview:
Provides quality medical nutrition therapy for patients/clients and promotes nutrition education to co-workers, staff and community. Collaborates with medical staff, nursing and appropriate ancillary departments to provide timely and effective implementation of nutrition care plans. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate of an American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved Dietetic Program. Bachelors or Masters degree program.
Licensure: Must have either a current Dietitian Temporary Permit/Dietitian license in the State of Texas.
Certification/Registration: Must be registered with the ADA or registry eligible within one year of hire. Must maintain registration status.
