About this job
Responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions. Assesses, monitors, detects, plans, and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Associate's Degree or equivalent in Nursing, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Nursing must be obtained within 7 years for those who start in this RN role on February 1, 2013
Experience - Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)with 180 days of hire
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) within 180 days of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 180 days of hire
Basic Qualifications:
