CNA/HHA/Home Health Aides/PCT - Full-time / Part-time

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s Care

*No previous experience necessary - training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• As a condition of employment all employees must be "Bondable"
• Must complete a State required Level 2 criminal background check; this is an expense to you the applicant of $84.00
• Successfully pass a DMV check and drug screening
• Must have own personal transportation a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
• Must be 21 years of age or older 
• Must be eligible to work in the USA
• Must be able to lift/pull 25 lbs

Requirements to be a Home Health Aide:
     

• HIV/Aids - OSHA Certificate - a minimum of 2 unit hours
• Alzheimer's Disease & Related Disorders Certificate - a minimum of 2 unit hours    
• CPR Certificate
• Home Health Aide Certificate or a CNA Certificate 
• Heath Statement / TB test
