Position: HR Assistant
Reports to: HR Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
Recruiting/Hiring:
- Respond to employment inquiries by phone, in person, and online.
- Review and respond to CG employment applications.
- Schedule and conduct CG interviews and screening tests.
- Complete CG reference checks.
- Develop and implement new or revised screening strategies and processes.
- Make hire/no hire decision on CG applicants; extend employment offers when appropriate.
- Conduct E-verify and MBON verification, pre-employment drug testing, and background checks of all new CGs.
- Input new CGs and certifications into ClearCare.
- Coordinate Companion Care to Personal Care training; coordinate Alzheimer’s training.
Training:
a. Conduct monthly CG orientation training.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Attend periodic training and other company events.
- Assist with other duties and special projects.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma ● Detailed oriented, people person
● HR experience preferred ● Computer proficient
● Successfully pass a background check
● Team player
