Position:  HR Assistant
Reports to:  HR Manager
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 
Recruiting/Hiring:
  1. Respond to employment inquiries by phone, in person, and online.
  2. Review and respond to CG employment applications.
  3. Schedule and conduct CG interviews and screening tests. 
  4. Complete CG reference checks.
  5. Develop and implement new or revised screening strategies and processes.
  6. Make hire/no hire decision on CG applicants; extend employment offers when appropriate.
  7. Conduct E-verify and MBON verification, pre-employment drug testing, and background checks of all new CGs.
  8. Input new CGs and certifications into ClearCare.
  9. Coordinate Companion Care to Personal Care training; coordinate Alzheimer’s training.
 
Training:
a.   Conduct monthly CG orientation training.
 
Secondary Responsibilities:
  1. Attend periodic training and other company events.
  2. Assist with other duties and special projects.
 
Qualifications: 
●   High school diploma                                                       ●   Detailed oriented, people person
●   HR experience preferred                                                ●   Computer proficient  
●   Successfully pass a background check                         
●   Team player
