Home Instead Senior Care seeks a multi-talented, professional and caring person to join our growing company with over 100 CAREGivers and a dynamic administrative team as a FULL TIME Program Assistant.
 
The Program Assistant provides support for all departments of the company:
 
CAREGiver Relations Assistant
Participate in CAREGiver recruitment activities
Screen applicants, conduct interviews, check references, and make hiring recommendations
Assist in the implementation of training programs in all aspects of senior care
Assist in production of monthly CAREGiver newsletter
Participate in and organize quarterly CAREGiver meetings Monitor CAREGiver performance
Assist with quarterly reviews
 
Scheduling Assistant
Responsible for coordinating varying service schedules of health care workers with their home bound clients. Schedulers match CAREGivers and clients based on skills, care needs, location, schedules and personalities along with an infinite number of additional variables.
 
Clerical Assistant
Involves heavy data recording, phones, and coordination of numerous details required.
 
Client Services Assistant
Involves monitoring care provision and other client support
 
The work requires some judgment but is performed primarily according to standard procedures with close supervision. Eight or more days per month of after-hours on call is required.
 
We are looking for a person who:
**Enjoys their work and complex challenges
**Wants to thoroughly understand the expectations of the job and requests performance feedback
**Is able to produce results while handling multiple priorities under pressure and within deadlines
**Takes initiative with accuracy, follow up, and commitment
**Is professional and positive with an outgoing demeanor
**Has excellent verbal and written communication skills with accurate spelling and grammar
**Possesses strong PC skills, extensive experience with Word and Outlook, familiarity with a data base management system and types at least 60 WPM
**Has an excellent record for performance and attendance
**Has a great memory for details
**Likes lots of interaction with others
**Has had some college
**Has two years of experience in a professional office setting.
