About this job
Responsible for analyzing and directing all IT related activities for Montgomery Operations with supervisory responsibilities for Montgomery IT employees. Accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services for computer users throughout the Montgomery plant and distribution centers through planning, technical proficiency, and project coordination.
Essential Functions Include:
1. Perform supervisory responsibilities for the Montgomery IT and Label Maker staff.
2. Determine the goals of Montgomery IT within guidelines provided by corporate and local management.
and contribute to the continuity of computer services by providing necessary technical leadership and
project coordination to Montgomery IT.
3. Work closely with Corporate IT to develop and implement standards, policies and structures.
4. Forecast cost, equipment and personnel needs for projects and programs as required for Montgomery IT operations.
5. Stay updated on the latest developments in MIS technology and remain highly technically competent at all levels of data processing while striving for enhanced user productivity through implementation of new software technology where applicable, and the implementation of policies that more effectively utilize resources.
6. Review, evaluate, design, implement, monitor and maintain the company s Enterprise Network Systems; both physical and virtual.
7. Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all network hardware (i.E. Routers, Switches, Servers, etc.) and software (i.E. Unified Communications, etc.).
8. Develop, configure, and maintain corporate systems backup and recovery plan within the guidelines of the company s overall Disaster Recovery and Preparedness Plan.
9. Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties and provide first line support, including the distribution centers software systems.
10. Identify utilization patterns and their effect on operation/system availability and performance
