Valet Attendant - *MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE STICK SHIFT

Full-Time or Part-Time Valet Driver  Love driving cars? Fast on your feet? Valets are responsible for the parking and retrieval of guests’ vehicles and for providing attentive and friendly customer service. Valets stand in front of establishments such as sports arenas, hotels, casinos, shopping malls, restaurants and hospitals. Valets greet and welcome guests upon arrival, document any vehicle damage, issue claim checks, get keys from the drivers, help guests with their belongings, safely park in the designated garage or lot, record the parking space, and secure the keys in the valet podium. When the car owner returns, Valets run to retrieve the car and help guests inside.  American Valet is a full-service valet, shuttle, and garage management organization based out of Arizona serving the Southwest since 1980. American Valet is looking for team members with great customer service experience and safe driving skills. American Valet provides a flexible schedule for both part-time and full-time employees.  American Valet does not accept applicants with felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions. A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required (no more than two minor moving violations in a 39 month period). Above average physical fitness, great hand-eye coordination and vision is necessary for a Valet position. Due to insurance purposes Valets are required to be at least 21 years of age. 

Requirements: At least 21 years of age.  High school diploma or equivalent.  Valid Driver’s License.  Pass DMV Motor Vehicle Report and Criminal Background Check.  Able to drive both automatic and manual transmission (stick shift) vehicles.  Above average physical fitness.  Professional appearance – no facial piercings, visible tattoos, must follow grooming policies.  Customer service experience highly preferred.  Able to work flexible schedule; may include some evenings and weekends, part-time or full-time work.  Able to communicate fluently in English.  Able to work well independently or on a team with minimal supervision.  This is a brief summary of the full job description, which is subject to change.
