Lead Installation/Service Technicians Wanted



 



If you do not have Fire Alarm, IP Video and or Access Control installation/service experience equal to or greater than three years, please do not apply.



 



 



Signature Systems of Florida serves the commercial and higher education markets by providing fire alarm, access control, sound/communication, and video security solutions to enhance security in campus environments. Our products and services are used by Valencia College, Disney, University of Central Florida (ranked the sixth largest in the United States), Florida Hospital and Starwood Vacations.



 



 



Installation and Service Technicians at Signature Systems of Florida are the front line in providing our customers with exceptional service and quality installations. We are seeking technicians that think like craftsmen and have a strong drive to deliver the best quality possible.



 



 



 



 



Installation Technicians will be able to work alone or lead a team in executing projects as directed by Project Managers and project documents. These projects include Fire Alarm, Access Control, Security System, IP Video Surveillance, and Sound Systems in commercial new construction and retro fit environments (non-residential).



 



 



 



 



Service Technicians will provide our customers with a pleasant and professional service experience. Experience with multiple manufacturers of the various types systems our customers use is highly desirable. For example, we frequently service fire alarms manufactured by EST, Notifier, Silent Knight, Siemens, Simplex, FCI/Gamewell.



 



 



 



 



Candidates will have the following attributes:



 



 



 




  • Three to five years industry experience

  • Clean driving record and background

  • Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision

  • Ability to finish projects

  • Ability to organize workload for effective implementation

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing present information in one-on-one and small group situations

  • Strong customer and results orientation

  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures

  • Ability to function as an effective team member

  • Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
