Dishwasher - Full-time / Part-time

Basic Job Function:

Properly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Responsible for sanitizing and cleaning all equipment (mixer, table, sheeter, storage container, etc...). Assists with cleaning other areas of the kitchen as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to move and lift heavy objects
• Knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate with co-workers and supervisors

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications
• Measure detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine
• Restock all dishes, utensils, pots and pans
• Keep dish and other areas of kitchen clean and organized
• Clean and sanitize floors, drainers, freezer and cooler
• Removal of garbage
• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations and refrigerators.
• Sweep and scrub floors.
• Clean garbage cans with water.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager.

• Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time
• Lifting loads of up to 80 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
