Stock Associate - Full-time / Part-time

Basic Job Function:

Receive, store and display sales floor merchandise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Carry, Lift and Push/Pull up to 50 lbs of merchandise
• Organizational skills
• Time Management skills

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
• Unload heavy pallets from the company truck and deliver to appropriate department
• Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins and tables with new or transferred merchandise
• Take inventory or examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished
• Clean display cases and shelves and aisles, maintain and upkeep the department
• Clear all merchandise off the floor before store opens
• Understand and follow the FIFO concept with all products
• In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time
• Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 75 pounds. Working rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all customers are being serviced properly and the department operations are being completed in a timely manner.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to read and write the English language, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
