Recruiting Assistant
Job Objective:
  • Meet clients’ flexible workforce needs by sourcing, hiring and placing qualified candidates.
  • Maintain a current bench of qualified, available Field Associates, through consistent, creative recruiting.
  • Taking/filling job orders, screening/evaluating/interviewing/hiring Field Associates.
  • Pursue excellence to ensure delivery of top quality service for the clients and employees.
  • Achieve business development goals-inside sales


Major Responsibilities:
  • Perform recruiting functions including: networking, job ad creation and internet posting, leveraging PrideStaff’s internal CRM resources to attract candidates
  • Conduct screening, evaluating, interviewing, orienting and reference checking to hire ‘the right people for the right jobs’
  • Assist with business development by talking with business people about PrideStaff’s people
  • Act as the receptionist for visitors and incoming callers
  • File Management & Clerical Support
  • Process payroll
  • Recruiting Support & Resource Development
  • Marketing and Sales support including incoming and outgoing phone sales


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communication, office systems, and record keeping
  • Knowledge of modern business communication: Includes style and format of letters and memoranda, formatting emails, creating email and letter templates and mail merges.
  • Skill to type 50 words per minute
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems


Credentials and Experience:
  • 3-5 years’ experience performing administrative and clerical duties
  • Administrative Assistance or Executive Assistant Experience preferred
  • Marketing or Sales background a plus
  • H.S. Diploma or GED is required of all employees
  • 2 year degree preferred

  • Ability to make decisions of sound judgment according to company policy.
  • Very good problem solving ability.
