We are looking for a Housekeeping Service Coordinator for our upscale property in Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, where residents enjoy resort-class amenities including, clubroom, fitness center, spa and pool.

BEST CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

  • Intermediate Computer Skills to include Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) products and internet skills
  • Prior experience working with proprietary database or tracking systems is strongly preferred.
  • Clear verbal communication skills in English are required. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years experience in cleaning or housekeeping at an apartment, hotel or similar environment.
  • 1-2 years as a lead or direct experience in housekeeping.
  • Experience in a customer service-related field preferred.

KEY FEATURES OF YOUR DAY:

  • Coordinate and schedule clean resets, housekeeping, and service requests
  • Coordinate keys and acquire permission to enter into occupied apartments
  • Communicate day-to-day activity with Property Manager and onsite HS team
  • Complete daily delivery and pick up verifications
  • Review daily electronic exceptions report
  • Train all new associates
  • Ensure a safe work environment for all associates by providing safety training and equipment.
  • Perform clean resets, housekeeping and service requests
  • Periodically inspect apartments after housekeeping service has been provided
  • Maintain storage rooms and ensure adequate inventory and cleaning supplies in stock
  • Control inventory to ensure proper handling to ensure against property loss.
  • Inspect move-ins and move-outs utilizing the Oakwood's inspection checklist
