PORT DRIVERS-CLASS A
Staffmark Transportation is the premier Transportation Staffing Service that focuses on finding jobs for commercial truck drivers. We currently have immediate openings for Class A Harbor drivers with Intermodal and Rail experience for a worldwide ocean freight company out of Los Angeles, CA.
Job Description:
Pull 20' to 53' containers out of the Port terminals and deliver them to customers locally
Ensure that the all locking load pins are correctly placed and is secure
Pre/Post inspections on equipment tractor/ containers (before and after leaving the terminals), and maneuver equipment in safe manner while following all DOT regulations
Driver must check manifest paperwork before leaving any yard or terminal.
Provide excellent customer service, and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
Rail experience is a plus, but not required
Work Schedule:
Monday through Saturday / several night positions open!!
$20 per hour, home daily, no leases, paid weekly!

Requirements
Driver Qualifications:
• Minimum of 23 years of age or older
• Current CDL Class A
• Current Medical Certification & TWIC card
• 1 year or more Class A Port/ Rail driving experience required
• No DUI’s/DWI’s or Reckless Driving in the past 5 years
• No Excessive Speeding, or any speed of 15 MPH or more
• No more than any combination of 3 moving violations and/or 3 accidents within the past three years.
• No hit and run, leaving the scene of accident, or failure to report an accident
• Current H-6 (10 year) DMV Printout, issued within the past 30 days.
