CNC Machinist: The duties included in the operation of a CNC machining center are program edits, setting up of tooling, and setting up the machine tool, secondary deburring, packaging of finished parts and moving of finished goods to appropriate locations via appropriate equipment (i.e. fork lifts, cranes, pallet jacks). Set ups and programming.
Qualifications:
=2-5 years experience operating CNC machining (milling) centers working with large parts in a heavy manufacturing environment. 2 year technical degree in machining would be highly regarded
=Able to edit programs and adjust fixture & cutter comp: Tool Offsets, RPM & Feed Rates, change and adjust program details such as X-Y-Z locations.
=Overall understanding of optimizing CNC programs as needed.
=Intermediate Knowledge of Mazak controls.
=Intermediate knowledge of GD&T.
=Experience with large parts and overhead cranes.
Pay = $13-15/hr DOE
