About this job

We are looking for a senior full stack LAMP developer (PHP being most significant of the work) to join our team. In addition to LAMP, our ideal candidate will have expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will also need to bring a proven track record in developing rich web-based experiences with a strong commitment to delivering rock-solid code.



You'll be partnering with our project teams to maintain and support an existing LAMP-based Content Management System. This position will likely be 4-5 months. Work will likey come in peaks and valleys. May be 20 hours one week, and 40 another. 



Requirements




  • Strong software analyzing, architecture and programming skills

  • Solid knowledge in PHP and MySQL. At least 10 years of professional web development experience PHP/MySQL and PHP frameworks

  • Experience with XHTML, HTML5, CSS2/3, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries

  • Proven experience with User Interface and back-end implementations,

  • Experience with custom, proprietary CMS solutions

  • Knowledge and experience with the current web standards, architectures and concepts

  • Ability to cope with complex specifications and platforms

  • Positive personality willing to take initiative and responsibilities, to research, promote and move new technologies and solutions.

  • Able to take part in the technical implementation and maintaining of various web applications based on the LAMP stack with use of wide area of web APIs

  • Able to discuss and estimate a set of projects requirements, activities, budgets and risks

  • Able to research, propose and implement technical solutions for the projects requirements

  • Able to initiate, research and evangelize new approaches and technologies in our company

  • Experience with Git source control

  • Experience configuring web applications on Apache

  • Experience with production deployments to Apache and industry standard deployment processes (e.g. pull request deployment hooks, continuous integration, deployment automation, etc.)

  • Ability and desire to work directly with clients to understand requirements and needs, execute LAMP-based technical solutions, and deploy and support solutions into the future



This position is part time and will likely last 4-5 months.
