Overnight Front Desk / Night Auditor - Winter Seasonal - Beaver Creek Reception Center 

Beaver Creek: At the gate, you leave everyday life behind. That's why people travel to Beaver Creek, Colorado from all over the world, and many make it a tradition. The drama of rock and sky, the sheer grandeur of this place, is one reason. That it is North America's World Cup mountain is another. It is also a place of intimacy. The Overnight Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting guests and homeowners, the check in/out process, taking reservations, posting charges, maintaining guest and group accounts, managing incoming telephone, computer and facsimile correspondence. Responsible for cleanliness of Guest Reception and surrounding public areas. Prepare packet of day's work for accounting. Other related responsibilities as required. 

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting all guests, checking guests in and out, coordinate housekeeping and maintenance activities throughout lodges. Assist other property management staff as necessary. Must possess strong telephone skills, excellent hospitality skills, strong teamwork skills and be detail oriented 

•Perform daily operations of front desk including checking guests in and out, answering phones 

•Demonstrate ability to show tact, courtesy, and diplomacy in difficult situations 

•Handle guest and owner issues and resolve in a timely and satisfactory manner 

•Communicate and coordinate maintenance and housekeeping requests 

•Communicate and coordinate with other front desks to anticipate and prepare guest requests 

•Maintain all front desk functions and systems 

•Answer questions about Beaver Creek activities and Vail Valley 

•Contact guests prior to arrival and infom them of check in location 

Wage: $13.00/hour 

Qualifications: 

•Bachelor Degree preferred but not required 

•Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal 

•2 yr. hospitality or other guest service experience preferred but not required 

•Proficient on Microsoft applications Word, Excel, Outlook 

•Able to lift and carry 50 lbs 

•Able to communicate with guest, homeowners, and colleagues with diplomacy and tact 

•Proficient on property management systems (SMS, PMS, LMS) preferred but not required 

•Must be able to work the night shift from 11pm-7am 

•Must be able to work weekends and holidays 

•Successful completion of a Background Check - required 

•Ability to communicate in excellent English both written and verbally, over the phone and in person 

Qualifications: 

•High School Diploma or equivalent - required 

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent - preferred 

•Able to read, write, speak & comprehend English fluently - required 

•Valid Colorado Driver’s License - required 

•At least 1 year of guest service, hotel or hospitality experience - preferred 

•Able to stand/walk for long periods of time in excess of 2 hours without sitting - required 

•Proficient in Microsoft applications (Work, Excel and Outlook) - required 

•Strong communication and organization skills 

•Able to work in a team and be detail orientated 

•Able to work weekends and holidays, days, and evenings - required 

•able to work a varied schedule depending on the property - required 

•Able to lift and carry 50lbs 

•2 or more years of guest service experience - preferred 

•Knowledge of LMS property management system - preferred 

•In-person interview - preferred 

•Resume - preferred 

•Knowledge of Beaver Creek and Vail area activities, restaurants, mountain layout - preferred
