.Net Developer

JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a .Net Developer to join the team. Our Custom Applications group is a motivated team of technical experts who support the entire company with custom in-house development solutions. The successful candidate is expected to be a self-starter who can manage multiple projects and work with minimal supervision. In addition to being extremely technically competent, the candidate must be able to communicate well.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Duties/Responsibilities:

The .Net Developer will be part of custom software development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .NET development stack. In this crucial role, you will be involved with the development, testing, and support of a suite of both custom and third party software ranging from web applications, windows services, WCF services, web services, and reporting services solutions. This role is part of a larger software development team which entails working in a collaborative environment although there will be assignments that require independent work.

Additional responsibilities for the .Net Developer include:

• Assistance with the maintenance of existing web based applications that support the business
• Interaction with internal and external clients to implement integration solutions

Required Skills:

• A good understanding 2 to 4 years of .NET framework, C# and ASP.NET/MVC
• Ability to write efficient T-SQL database queries
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging experience
• Experience writing service-based applications using RESTful Web Services
• Good understanding of relational database design
• SQL Server 2008 (Stored procedures, Functions, Views, Indexing, Table Definitions, etc.)
• Visual Studio 2013
• JavaScript
• Self-directed and proactive; thinks beyond the immediate problem
• Ability to work directly with both internal and external resources to insure timely completion of assigned deliverables
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Experience creating system documentation

Preferred experience:

• Extract Transform and Load packages such as Microsoft SSIS
• Team Foundation Server
• SharePoint and Web Part Development
• JSON
• WCF
• Silverlight
• Oracle
• Angular JS
• Experience in Healthcare IT or Support environment a plus.
