Are you looking for a position where you can grow within a company? Do you like to work with your hands? If so, PrideStaff is seeking an individual for a temporary to hire position. This position has an hourly rate of $10.00 - $14.00 depending upon experience.
General Overview:
Assembly line workers, also known as team assemblers, work together in a line completing individual tasks in sequence to construct parts and products.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembly line workers usually rotate jobs and learn more than one part of the assembly process
- Ability to gather materials, construction, quality control, packaging and shipping
- An assembly line worker reviews and follows instructions, diagrams and blueprints to complete his task
- May use a combination of any number of tools, including punches, hammers, wrenches, cutters, clamps, calipers, pliers, templates, molds, paint sprayers, or welding equipment and other electric- or gas-powered machines
- Responsible for programming or repairing these tools, as well as cleaning up work areas
Skills and General Qualifications:
- Good vision, coordination and dexterity to deal with handling and manipulating materials and parts
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to be able to focus on the task at hand and pay attention to details
- Be able to work in a team environment to meet deadline-influenced projects
- Ability to do repetitive work and long periods of sitting, standing, bending, twisting or lifting
- Must have mental and physical stamina and strength
- Have basic data entry and computer office suite software skills
