On Call Coordinator
 
Home Instead Senior Care® is looking for a steady, multi-tasker to join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families.  This person should be dependable, driven, and a strong ability to recognize and understand the needs of customers.  This individual must be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
 
Are you a self-starter?  Do you enjoy working autonomously?  Home Instead Senior Care® is looking for an On Call Coordinator to be the main contact for our office during the weekends. You’ll coordinate back-up care for our clients as well as field new client inquiries.  We’re looking for someone who is dependable, driven, positive, and has a strong ability to recognize and understand the needs of customers.  Join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. 
 
Primary Responsibilities/Requirements: 
*Attend 5 days of weekday training in office prior to starting weekend on call duties
*In-Office Hours approximately 3:30pm-5:00pm Fridays and 8:00am-9:00am Mondays; Carry on call phone hours in between.
*During on call hours: Handle all calls; monitor and follow-up on all caregiver missed clock-ins and clock-outs; schedule all new and replacement shifts during on call; communicate all changes with clients; conduct Caregiver/Client Introductions at client homes,handle inquiries for services, conduct client consultations for services, and fill in caregiving  until a replacement caregiver can arrive
Own a home computer with access to the internet
*Log all activities in computer operating system
*Must live in or within 10 miles of  New Braunfels, TX
 
 
Previous job experience in a health related or senior services or related business experience is preferred.  Must be proficient in basic computer functions.  Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.  The On Call Coordinator is a part time position and the rate of pay for office hours is $12.00/hour with a weekend flat rate of $175.00 for up to 10 hours worked .
