Job Purpose:

The Shift Supervisor supports the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager in the execution of the entire store’s operations. These objectives include assisting with the development and training of all Team Member in the store. The Shift Supervisor ensures an exceptional customer experience that supports our vision to become fast and casual “to go” with world class convenience.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Assist in vendor check-in, ordering, unpacking of orders and merchandising enhancements by having properly faced and readily available products for our guests.
• Maintains site appearance standards, conducts general maintenance tasks keeping the stores looking terrific and taking exceptional care of our valued guests.
• Train and coach team members as directed by the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager.
• Greeting guests in a friendly manner and suggestive selling to help increase sales.
• Works cash register, monitors shift cash and inventory control, and prepares shift reports.
• Responsible for the open/close of the store as needed.
• Maintains professional appearance in accordance with the company dress code policy.
• Maintains professional communication and demeanor with vendors, team members and guests Responsible and accountable for completion and execution of tasks for assigned shift.
• Cross trained in all retail and food service operations.
• Strong commitment to team work while being flexible and adaptable to change.
• Knows, follows, and enforces all state and local laws regarding lottery, cigarettes and alcohol sales.
• *All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• 1 year of leadership experience required, preferably in a retail or convenient store environment.


• Ability to learn and utilize the store’s computer applications required.


• Exceptional customer service, superior relationship building and strong leadership skills required.


• Highly effective written and oral communication skills required.


• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks for team members.


• Experience, skills and abilities consistent with Core Values and Leadership Competencies


• Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs


• Reliable transportation required.


• Must be 18+ years old.

Licensure/Certification: 

• Serv Safe/Other State or County Certifications within the first 90 days of employment where required.
