The Hollis Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Police Officer with a deadline for submission of Friday June 3, 2016 at 5:00 PM. Minimum qualifications include: United States citizen, high school diploma or equivalent, must be 21 years of age and the ability to pass a written, physical agility, and assessment test in addition to an extensive background check.



Starting salary for non-certified candidates is $47,100. Full-time certified officers are encouraged to apply. Starting salary for full-time certified officers is a minimum of $48,493 and $49,950 after completion of probation. New Hampshire Full-Time Certified applicants are waived from the written test.



Interested candidates must submit an application, cover letter and resume through  no later than 5:00 PM on Friday June 3, 2016. All applications must be submitted through our application website; no application material will be accepted via mail or by hand. There will be a $25 application and testing fee due at the time the application is submitted.



 



Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications will be invited to the first step in the process, the written and physical agility tests, to be held on Sunday June 5, 2016 starting at 9:00AM at the Hollis Brookline High School. The Hollis Police Department reserves the right to limit candidates eligible to take the physical agility test to those scoring 70% or higher on the written test. Candidates will be tested at the 35th percentile for physical fitness and the standards can be found at
