Business Analyst - Shavano Park, TX or US Telecommute - Full-time / Part-time

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for process improvement initiatives for M&R for STARS improvements
Manage outcomes of various studies that include analyzing, reviewing, forecasting, trending, and presenting information for operational and business planning
Support short and long term operational/strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models
Develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
Responsible for quality reporting, analysis and audits and for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools
Gather and document business requirements
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients
Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience
Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports relating to the development and performance of products, processes and technologies

 
Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or equivalent
1+ years of experience in business / finance including analysis experience with a solid understanding of data storage structures
Experience gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting
Intermediate level of proficiency or better with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Experience in analysis of business process and workflow and providing an evaluation, benchmark and/or process improvement recommendations
1+ years of experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation)
Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally
Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data 
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:  

Experience with COSMOS platform from a reporting back end perspective
SQL experience
