About this job
The HHA/CNA performs hands on personal care services as an extension of therapy or nursing services. Types of services that are provided with activities of daily living include: bathing, dressing, eating, personal hygiene, toileting, assistance with physical transfer, and other responsibilities.
Areas of Need: Palm Coast
Hours: PRN, all shifts up to 24 hoursJob responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- To provide personal care as documented on a client's care plan
- The HHA may be asked to prepare light meals and perform light housekeeping tasks as documented on the client's care plan
- Work with patients of all ages, primarily geriatric
- Continuously monitor client's condition and report any unusual occurrences to supervisor
Requirements:
- Active Florida CNA licensure or Medical Assistant or Home Health Aide Certification, 1 year of home health aide experience (Preferred)
- Reliable Transportation (position is 100% travel)
- Cell Phone with coverage in the Greater Service Area
- Current CPR/BLS Certification (Card must be obtain thru a hands on class, NOT an online class. Need a CPR class )
