About this job

Actively participates in the preventive maintenance and calibration programs.
Monitor and support manufacturing areas, perform daily equipment set-up, and make adjustments or repairs as required. Respond to employees' requests for facility's support. Maintain quality standards in and around manufacturing areas ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel and help to develop a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain preventive maintenance database and ensure all applicable equipment is calibrated.
* Perform preventative maintenance
o on all manufacturing related equipment
o on the facility as required
* Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineer(s) to ensure all existing manufacturing equipment is in order, available, validated and ready to produce when needed as per production schedule.
* Provide technical support on equipment/facilities for validation and development purposes.
* Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, equipment, and initiate re-ordering when necessary while providing a monthly expense report.
* Respond to manufacturing and/or facilities emergencies.
* Maintain safety, quality, and GMP standards across all manufacturing areas.
* Respond to daily facilities requests including but not limited to: moving filing cabinets, fixing squeaky or unleveled doors, touch up painting, seismic bracing, replacing light bulbs, setting up for company meetings, installing furniture, etc., as needed.
* Perform responsibilities while complying with Quality systems procedures.


Routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment; could also install new equipment. Detail oriented. Hand and power tools, basic electronics. Will report to supervisor. Regulated environment. Must have facilities maintenance experience as well as manufacturing equipment repair and troubleshooting
