Job Description:
95% of their time will be spent overseeing the whole process, but also willing to get their hands dirty on the floor working to put out fires with assembly equipment and working to improve processes.
- Must be Hands-On and have extensive Machine Troubleshooting experience. They work with Controls Machines at HiLex, so candidate will be doing troubleshooting on PLC equipment.
0-5% of the time might involve some detailing on Solidworks.
This is to take the place of a manufacturing engineer who is out on an extended leave beginning first week in May. Work Environment: a very fast paced work environment where everybody has a hand in whats going on. Engineers cannot be afraid to be hands-on and help out with troubleshooting and must be able to come up with hands-on solutions. Qualifications: MUST HAVE:
-2+ years experience in a manufacturing setting as a Manufacturing, Project, or Process Engineer with a BSME or other Engineering degree OR 5+ years experience in one of those roles without a degree.
- 1 + years experience with Solidworks. Must be able to at least detail drawings.
- Strong mechanical background in assembly equipment with build experience
- Familiar and experience with APQP and its procecedures.
PLUS:
- BSME or other 4 year engineering degree
- Experience with procurement of equipment
- Project Engineering experience
- Electrical experience (PLC's) Allen Bradley.
- Tooling experience
