CAMP DIRECTOR:
San Mateo Gymnastics is looking for an energetic, experienced individual to lead our 2017 Summer Camp. The job entails overall supervision of all staff, campers and activities and to insure all policies are upheld. The Director position may involve some coaching so gymnastics experience is a plus. Must be 21 years of age or older.
Director hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am – 4 pm. Looking to fill the position ASAP starting with part-time hours.
INSTRUCTORS/GROUP LEADERS:
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic and energetic, responsible and reliable, and love working with children. Gymnastics experience a huge plus, but not necessary. We will train you to teach gymnastics. We are looking to fill positions for our half-day Munchkin Camp (ages 3.5-5) and our full-day Boys and Girls Camps (ages 5-13).
Positions are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 1:30 pm (Munchkins) OR 8:00 am - 3:30 pm (Boys and Girls).
Year-round teaching positions are also available Monday through Saturday
AFTERCARE LEADER:
This position will be responsible for developing and leading our Summer Camp Aftercare Program. No gymnastics experience is necessary. Aftercare consists of snack time, free play, a movie, and arts and crafts for children ages 5-13. Enthusiasm, responsibility, love of children, the ability to organize and lead activities, and communicate with parents are all necessary skills for this position. Position is Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:15 pm.
Must be 21 years of age or older for Aftercare Leader.
ARTS AND CRAFTS LEADER:
Seeking a fun-loving, creative person who loves working with children to direct and supervise the arts and crafts portion of our week-long summer camp. This position will be responsible for choosing arts and crafts projects in conjunction with the camp director, as well as leading the activity, set-up and clean-up of all supplies. No gymnastics experience required.
Position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.
