Food Service Worker

We're currently looking for a Food Service Worker that has previous Healthcare Food Service experience. Will perform a variety of routine manual tasks in the Food and Nutrition department regarding the patient tray line, nourishment and sanitation. Duties will vary depending on daily assignment. Work under close supervision and is expected to solve simple problems by referring to work instructions or established work procedures which are readily learned.

• Will assign station set-up with needed items for service including but, not limited to all food and menu items, utensils, paperwork and service ware. • Assembly trays in an efficient manner and maintains a high degree of accuracy. • Responsible for proper cleaning and sanitation of station. Displays proper use and knowledge of chemicals, equipment and personal protective equipment. • Will work in dish room performing assigned functions ensuring trays, dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized before returning to service. Roll silverware and line trays as assigned. • Restock work area for next meal. • Must have previous Healthcare Food Service experience. • 1st and 2nd shift must be able to work a flexible shift. • Perform other related work as required. • High School Diploma or equivalent.
