JANITORIAL AREA MANAGERS IN FARMINGTON HILLS - Part-time

Stathakis is local to your community and operates a cleaning and maintenance company that has served local communities, just like yours, for over 30 years. We continue to grow and are expanding our teams with several positions currently available in your area.
We are currently hiring for Janitorial Area Managers. M-F from 3:30pm to 12am. Must have a valid driver's license because you are required to drive a company vehicle. Also must have at least 2 years of management experience. Summary Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial, industrial, or other establishments such as schools, medical facilities, offices or auditorium by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assigns tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards.
Issues supplies and equipment.
Resolves workers' problems, coaches and or counsels employees.
Reviews employees' hours worked on time sheets.
Submits requests for repair of cleaning equipment to Building Superintendent.
Requisitions or purchases cleaning supplies and equipment.
Performs duties of workers supervised.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly Supervises 50 or more employees in the Janitorial Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Must have good computer skills
Must have a minimum of 2 years management experience
Must have a valid drivers license you are required to drive a company vehicle
You must be able to pass a background check and drug test paid for by our company.

Maintain inventory and replenishes cleaning supplies by contacting main office in advance and picking up supplies at main office on a needed basis.

Must be able to perform all duties in correspondence to the workloads.

Required to check in with all Area Supervisors and take on additional assignments as needed
