We are currently looking for a working warehouse lead/ supervisor for our client in Hopewell twp. PA

 

Responsible for meeting production, quality, and delivery goals and objectives; receiving incoming materials and shipment of finished products; storing and maintaining accurate inventory. Duties may also include generating LTL shipments and tracking billable activity.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ? Counting of physical inventory
  • ? Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped
  • Order fulfillment to include planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion
  • Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program
  •  Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  •  Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times
  • Responsible for making arrangements for pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer’s Purchase request
  • Supports received goods and supplies to be used in, or to aid in, the production of goods and the shipment of goods produced destined for sale to our customer base
  • Ensuring warehouse is accessible, clean and safe
  • ? Handling of hazardous and recycled waste materials
  • ? Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations
  • ? Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method
  • ? Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • ? Opening bales, crates, and other containers
  • ? Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • ? Provides additional production & shipping support as needed

Qualifications:

  • ? Ability to acquire TSA certification (required)
  • ? Working knowledge of warehouse operations and equipment
  • ? Ability to read and interpret diagrams and packaging instructions
  • ? Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently
  • ? Strong oral and written communication skills
  • ? Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations

Daylight hours

 

Pay rate is DOE $14+ per hour
