Summary: The Shift Lead is in charge at their designated retail location when the manager is not present. The Shift lead is responsible for setting and executing customer service standards, product management, and cash management. In addition the Shift Lead acts as a representative of the company with positivity and complies with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. They oversee the Sales Associates at their location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned daily:

Understands Sales Goals

  • Notifies staff of sales goals and works to achieve them by providing excellent customer service and guidance to staff

Lead the Store Team:

  • Assists with supervising the staff of the retail store during assigned shifts
  • Provides on the spot coaching and support to staff when necessary
  • Assists the Store Manager to ensure all breaks and lunches are taken on time and OT is not accrued
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and direction to Sales Associates to develop and grow them for future management needs
  • Responsible for  assisting with consistently and effectively communicating the company objectives, changes, and new product roll outs to team
  • Accountable to ensure that staff underperformance is forwarded to the Store Manager in an urgent manner.
  • Troubleshoot daily operational issues including but not limited to quality control issues, alarm problems, order discrepancies, staffing call off, POS technical glitches, plumbing problems

Customer Service:

  • Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is educational and efficient
  • Follow through with implementation store level standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to ensure that staff greet, engage, sample, inspire
  • Manage the floor and customer flow towards an outstanding and consistent in store customer experience
  • Role models quality customer service standards to inspire the team to follow suit

Product Management:

  • Maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards
  • Report to Store Manager of consistent out of stock or expiring products
  • Handle and troubleshoot any store level ordering/inventory issues as they arise

Requirements:

  • It is expected the Shift lead work 2-3 weekends a month
  • Can do attitude with commitment to achieving goals
  • Regular communication with the Store Manager and teams across all retail locations

Compensation:

  • $14 - $15
