Expect to Make a Difference
CAREGivers provide quality care to seniors and the disabled by doing the following:
*Provide non-medical one-on-one care
*Administer personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, incontinence issues)
*Provide medication and appointment reminders
*Assist with walking and provide stabilization
*Provide companionship and conversation
*Perform light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, laundry, etc)
*Preparation of meals and clean up meal related items (feeding, if necessary)
*Contribute to a positive living environment
*Help clients to have an independent and active life
*Run errands
*Maintain records of client progress and services performed
*Report changes in client's condition
Skills and Experience Required:
*Minimum of one year personal or professional caregiver experience with a loved one, client, senior in home care or facility
*Must be 21 years of age
*Provide own transportation and possess a current driver's license with proof of auto insurance
*Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
*Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
*Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
*Clean criminal history and drug screen
