About this job
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Aids the department or team leader in the assembly of forms for concrete pouring.
Uses hand tools to modify or create the concrete forms.
Aids the department or team leader in the installation of reinforcing wire, gasket installation and other accessories.
Pours and finishes concrete structures per specifications or supervisor instruction.
Inspects and measures concrete workpieces or accessories to verify conformance to specifications.
Cleans and maintains all components of the concrete forming equipment.
Performs any duty that is assigned to him/her and that he/she has been trained or authorized to perform.
Replaces worn hand tools and accessories such as hammers, ladders, and finishing trowels.
Files, sands, or grinds imperfections on concrete products.
Cleans machine parts, work areas and equipment as directed by the department’s supervisor.
Complies with all applicable safety procedures including the wearing of personal safety equipment.
Complies with all company policies that have been communicated to him/her, especially the policies relating to Human Resources, Attendance and On-Time policies.
