Full Serve Warehouse Coworker: I contribute to the coordination and completion of the Goods Flow process in the most efficient, commercial and safe way and secure the goods flow operations are optimised. I do this through using my knowledge of IKEA, as well as the IKEA tools and the experience and expertise of my colleagues. This results in agreed goods availability for customers at the lowest possible costs. We do this to strengthen the main objectives of IKEA to be leader in life at home in our local market and achieve growth and sustained long term profitability. I actively work and contribute towards fulfilling the four tasks of the store:

• to act as a highly efficient, and staffed, sales mechanism.
• to show home furnishing solutions full of inspiring home furnishing ideas.

• to serve as a well-qualified home furnishing specialist.
• to provide a day out for the whole family.

Responsibilities applicable to both Inflow and Outflow co-workers

• Maintain a clean, organized work area following waste management guidelines.

• Maintain supplies, tools and equipment in an as new condition.
• Adhere strictly to safety and security procedures.
• Improve and maintain knowledge on Efficient Goods Flow Concept and range. Adhere strictly to safety and security procedures including accurate and safe pallet placement in racking
• Improve and maintain knowledge on Efficient Goods Flow Concept and range
• Assist managers in the training of new co-workers.
• Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur.
• Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

Hourly part time (20-31 hours/week) Warehouse coworker position within the Logistics Dept. This position requires 48 hours of weekly availability and requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
