Sales Engineer

Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer for a Direct Placement opportunity.

This is a long term opportunity and will be responsible for a territory and all sales activities from lead generation, proposals, closing, and account management to meet personal and business goals.

***As a Sales Agency, the company partners with various Metals companies in the region as part of their Metals Group (Forging, casting, precision machined parts, etc). These companies perform the actual work brought in.
MPI serves as the liaisons that represents these services and targets customers for Purchase Orders.
Differentiator is that MPI has a choice of different offerings that the customer can pick to best fit their project needs.

- 1-3 years of Technical Sales experience
- Knowledge of materials, processes, and industry specifications
- Experience in aspects of Supplier Relationship Management
- entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to travel
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes (preferred with Metals)

- Assigned territory and includes sales, marketing, customer service, and engineering support
- Understanding of principal capabilities, and company's policies/procedures
- Creates and conducts effective proposals and follow ups
- maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
- Will be expected to travel ass needed based on territory and prospecting needs
