The HR Central Admin Specialist will be responsible for performing employee transaction maintenance within the Enterprise HRIS systems. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintenance on and scanning of the permanent personnel files. In addition, the incumbent will process reorganizations, compensation changes, organizational structure changes and leave of absence transactions. The incumbent will also be required to troubleshoot and research issues to obtain resolution. The HR Central Admin Specialist will provide transactional support to other functions within the department. The Specialist will be expected to complete activities associated with employee transactions, life events, internal transfers, and terminations, leaves of absence and compensation payments.
Essential Responsibilities•Process and control position and personnel transactions for all employees within the Enterprise, generating various summaries and reports of HR & Payroll information.•Processes and controls performance appraisals and merit increases for all Enterprise employees.•Process all information required to initiate and update online employment records for the transfer, promotion and termination of employees•Receives, verifies and initiates the processing of various personnel related activities including leave of absence transactions.•Administers process changes for positions, intercompany transfers, terminations and new hires•Review and update manager-initiated transaction details according to defined procedures & practices•Maintain departmental programs, systems documentation and procedures in a current and detailed manner.•Responsible for accurately processing company transactions including, but not limited to company reorganizations, merit and incentive processing, new hire processing and talent programs, such as performance management.•Generates and delivers reports for operational and performance metrics related to HR administration.•Maintains the employee personnel files for the corporation. Processes changes and maintains employee and HR admin files according to legal, audit, regulatory and industry requirements and provides direction and assistance to staff in the maintenance of files. Administers and updates assigned and associated corporate policies and procedures.•Participates as a team member in the testing of new systems, enhancements to existing systems, and production support. Identifies and escalates issues to HR systems support teams for analysis and resolution.
Requirements
High school diploma or something equivalent.
Experience using Peoplesoft
Teamplayer
Ability to multi-task
