JOB SUMMARY:

Assists the customer service manager in the operation of the customer service department consistent with division goals and objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Performs the functions of the warranty administrator to prepare and implement customer in-house warranty repair agreements.
  2. Organizes, coordinates, and submits all repair proposals under the direction of the customer service manager.
  3. Assists customers and other divisions with problem areas relating to the customer service and/or repair departments; coordinates efforts and interfaces with other departments to resolve problems.
  4. Processes incoming mail and/or data in a timely manner.
  5. Responsible for internal and external implementation and coordination of “special projects,” including marketing and sales campaigns and major-modification programs.
  6. Ensures that clerical and administrative daily-operation procedures remain productive and consistent with those of interacting departments.
  7. Responsible for all clerical support to the customer service manager.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned (primarily in the area of assistance to all other clerical and administrative personnel).

Working knowledge in the areas of contract administration, inventory planning, marketing and sales techniques, and customer interface are required.
