Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers. Primary Responsibilities:


Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements

Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems

Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses

Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks

Translates concepts into practice

Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues

Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others

Acts as a resource for others with less experience

Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed

Works with less structured, more complex issues

Schedule and/or meet with internal and/or external business partners in order to gather report requirements and data analysis needs

Complete functional requirement forms and/or documents to define project parameters, build report requirements, and/or identify potential solutions

Demonstrate understanding of business terminology and acronyms in order to accurately interpret customers' requests

Define and/or ensure that report parameters are established and consistent with data governance requirements (e.g., share minimally necessary data, sensitive information)

Create/Provide/Support Ad Hoc and Scheduled Reports

Demonstrate understanding of relevant software and databases (e.g., SQL; Excel; Access; SAS; Sagent)

Communicate with internal and/or external customers concerning the status of their report requests (e.g., expected completion date; current progress

Conduct internal process reviews and/or gather feedback from internal and/or external customers in order to identify opportunities to improve operational performance (e.g., report automation)

Identify and/or provide opportunities for additional training and learning to support process and report improvements

Review ad hoc reporting requests in order to determine whether a standard reporting solution can be created

Participates in the development of business strategy

Develops and manages business plans to achieve objectives

Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives

Share and promote best practices with applicable internal business partners to ensure optimal reporting tools and processes are utilized

Propose and/or define long-term strategies for implementing process and/or reporting improvements

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

2 + years in Healthcare experience
2+ years in analytical reporting experience
Ability to work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
2+ years customer service experience
Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
Solid knowledge of policies and procedure, data governance, regulatory, and HIPAA guidelines
Solid Computer Skills
User Acceptance Testing experience
Ability to learn new applications quickly

Preferred Qualifications:


Proficiency in Sagent/Galaxy and/or SAS
