Our client, in Lake City, PA is known for over 65 years as a top producer of quality fresh and frozen food products using the highest level of customer service.  We are currently in search of Warehouse workers; picker/packers; machine operators; shipping and receiving; material handlers; bakers;  for our 1st; 2nd and 3rd shifts with flexibility in their schedule.  $9.00  per hour with frequent pay increases and excellent benefits package.  Please call 814.774.3842 today for application and interview information.

 

Duties:

  

Load products into package and processing equipment.

Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work area.  

Pick and package product while inspecting to ensure specifications are met.

Measure, weigh, and count products.

Mark and label containers.  

Place products or materials properly into containers without damaging product.

Remove completed or defective products or materials.

Obtain, move, and seal and sort product containers.  

 

Requirements:

 

Good hand/eye coordination

Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as required

Periodic lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Complies with food safety requirements

Complies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements

Reports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to the Lead or Supervisor

Be able to safely lift items from 10-30 pounds - boxes, scrap bins, garbage bins

In certain positions may be required to lift heavier items 30-50 pounds - bags of flour, buckets of ingredients, corn syrup

Certification required for operating Pallet Jacks, Fork Lifts, Lock-out/Tag-out

Understanding of operating; cleaning and shutdown equipment safely
